The family-friendly ski region of Gantrisch might not offer the largest number of ski slopes, but its charm and natural surroundings easily outshine other ski areas. Not many places offer such an impressive panoramic view of the Alps at once: the Gantrisch Range, the Lake Thun, and the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks provide a stunning backdrop. Both young and old can experience the splendor of this brilliant white setting along the 45 km long network of cross-country ski tracks – or while snowshoeing or hiking off the beaten track.

Program

Take a day trip from Bern and explore one of the region’s best-kept secrets – the winter sports region of Gantrisch. A guide will lead you through the wintry landscape on snowshoes, pointing out highlights of the panoramic scenery. After a meal in the rustic chalet restaurant Berghütte Selital, you can try your hand at snow tubing in the afternoon.
