Römerweg (Roman Road), Laupen

The Laupenau-Hirsried nature reserve in the municipalities of Laupen, Mühleberg and Neuenegg is a wet meadow area of national importance along the right bank of the river Saane, extending from Laupen to the large BLS train viaduct near Gümmenen. This pleasant two-hour hike leads from Laupen through the meadowlands.
