Hiking to the Lueg
Admire a particularly impressive cottage garden near the hamlet of Chaltenegg. Depending on the season, the descent after Dürrenroth will lead you past blossoming fruit trees and lush fields – a feast for the eyes.

The village of Dürrenroth is rich in history, with many grand historic structures and beautiful gardens. It's worth stopping in for a meal at Landgasthof Bären.
Continue along the natural trails toward the Lueg, the highest point along the hike, where you'll be rewarded with a spectacular view of the Napf Region, the Emmental Region, and on clear days even the Bernese Alps.
